Fox’s Report on the UFO Research

UFO or Unidentified Flying Object must not be a new term for you. You may have read plenty of articles about UFO, telling whether it does exist, where human can see them, and many other things. Yet, have you known what research has said about UFO? Here is the report on the UFO research.

The Research’s Claim
To begin with, let’s see what the research has claimed about the existence of UFO. Research has said that UFOs are getting more difficult to spot. However, there have been many speculations about it. Maybe UFOs are just close encounters of blurred kind?

New research has suggested that UFOs sightings in the United States tend to move in fluctuating cycles of 6 or 7 years. Those cycles then make the UFOS sightings a permanent downtrend and thus make many researchers puzzled.

A UFO researcher that was named as Researcher of the Year by International UFO Congress, Cheryl Costa, has stated that the annually UFO sightings in the United States are now on the average of 7,837. This is surely a drop of a whopping 41% compared to the previous years. Even in the last three years, the UFO sightings can reach the peak average years.

The Best Place in the United States to Spot UFO
Costa the researcher once wrote up her research findings for the Syracuse New Times. In her writing, she elaborated that during those cycles, the UFO sightings tend to rise to its peak. It shows that the cycles decline back to the baseline but then it rises again to start a new cycle.

In between 2012 and 2014, the United States had the peak average of annual UFO sightings which was 13,500. Costa furtherly explained that the citing data were from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) and Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

However, the UFO sightings fell 11% to 11,975 in 2015 and the sightings even got more dramatic decrease in 2016 by falling 21% to 10,602. Seeing this fact, Costa has conducted many studies but she hasn’t been able to come up with the solid reason for that significant sightings drop. Yet, she has speculated that the drop had to do with the broadband internet access.

Do you think you agree that UFO is getting more difficult to spot? Have you ever seen UFO by yourself? If you are still curious about the reason behind the sightings drop, make sure you always update yourself with the upcoming report on the UFO research.
